Mark the dates into your calendar Nexus fans, as new rumors strongly suggest that the LG made Nexus 5 2015 and Huawei made Nexus 6 will be launched on September 29. Both the smartphones will sport fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C port and may be available from Google Play Store on the launch day itself.
As per Android Authority, the LG Nexus 5 2015 is supposed to be called as “Nexus 5X” although “decision on the final name has not been taken yet at Google HQ”. The site further explained that “name makes a lot of sense: it allows Google to keep its “Nexus #” naming convention, while signaling that this is a new device in a much more intuitive fashion than by adding a ‘(2015)’ or ‘(2nd gen.)’ suffix.”
The Nexus 5X is said to be made available in White, Black and Light Blue color variants. Rumors also suggested that the 16 GB model will be priced at $399 (approx Rs. 26,600) where as the 32GB variant may priced at $449 (approx Rs. 29,900). The Nexus 5X may look costlier than its previous version but it is quite affordable for a flagship device. And lets not forget it will be the first ever smartphone to have Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
