And when you look at its price, the phone becomes even greater with its unparalleled value for money. So, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro is undisputedly the king of premium budget smartphones and dominates the price range of around Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000.

Overall, the Samsung Galaxy M40 is a great phone from Samsung and after so many years, it revives the Samsung brand in the premium budget segment and takes on the competition bang on! The unique thing about the Galaxy M40 is its hole punch display, which has very good quality and also looks very beautiful and less obstructive compared to a display with a notch. It also packs in the great Snapdragon 675 processor and delivers excellent performance for gaming and heavy usage. The good things don’t end here as it has also got triple cameras at the back with very good picture quality and a very effective and interesting wide angle mode. The Galaxy M40 also has a good front camera, latest Android with one of the best user interface in the form of Samsung’s new One UI, decent battery backup and complete set of features. All combined together, the Samsung Galaxy M40 is a very powerful and beautiful smartphone with a great/premium user experience. It is certainly one of the best phones under Rs. 20,000.

Should you buy?
The most important highlight of the Motorola One Vision is its tall 21:9 aspect ratio display (which is the first for any smartphone in India) which is the same aspect ratio in which movies are produced in so, it delivers an absolutely delightful experience if you watch the supported videos on the phone. Also, due to the tall display, the phone has a low width and is easier to hold and use (its curved back also compliments the purpose). However, there is also a drawback of this aspect ratio as most of the videos on YouTube & other platforms have 16:9 ratio so, when you zoom in a larger part of the video gets cropped. Apart from the display, it also packs one of the best cameras for the price, excellent design & build, good performance, all the features & more importantly, it comes under Android One program which will ensure fast updates & clean UI. Among all the good things in the phone, there is the hole punch cutout for the front camera which will draw your attention a lot, most of the times a little annoyingly as it has big borders but, with time you will get used to it. Overall, the Motorola One Vision is a really interesting package with lots of goodness, however, a 3K-4K lower price would have made it perfect but, it still is a worthy phone to go for.

Overall, the Realme 3 Pro is a very powerful and feature packed smartphone for its price. It packs in a great performance and an amazing set of front and rear cameras for the price. Then, there is the beautiful good quality display along with a big battery to keep the phone running for extended sessions of gaming or watching videos (both of which it handles perfectly, btw) but the real icing on the cake is the 20W fast charger included in the box, which charges the phone amazingly fast, unlike any other phone in this segment (its biggest rival, Redmi Note 7 Pro has just a 10W charger). And add to it the latest version of Android, along with some useful features for gaming and more in the ColorOS, the Realme 3 Pro becomes a very complete and exciting package, which is certainly one of the best in the price range of around Rs. 15,000.

Should you buy?
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy M30 reflects Samsung’s new intent for its budget smartphones as it packs some good features at a reasonable price. The most highlighting things about the Galaxy M30 are the triple rear cameras, AMOLED display and the massive battery, all of which have been executed pretty well, especially the wide angle lens at this budget price is pretty impressive. Although the Galaxy M30’s Exynos processor is not as powerful as the Qualcomm processors around the same price, it still is very good for day to day usage and even gaming, although heavy gamers shouldn’t settle for it. The Galaxy M30 has also got a very good front camera, decent design and now when it has received the Android Pie update with One UI, it has become a very good smartphone as a package and add with it the trust and brand value of Samsung, it becomes a very good smartphone for the price.

Should you buy?
The Oppo F11 Pro brings in one of the hottest features of a pop-up/sliding front camera in the mid-range and by the virtue of it, the phone’s big display looks clean and beautiful and gives you a notch-free experience. The Oppo F11 Pro also packs in very good front and rear cameras and specially performs very well under artificial/low light conditions. The Oppo F11 Pro comes with a plastic back which looks like glass and has got a very beautiful gradient finish to it and adds premiumness to the design. It has also got powerful performance, big battery with very fast 20W charging and latest software with lots of features. Overall, the Oppo F11 Pro is a very good package with latest features and good hardware, although a lower price would have made it a much better deal.

Should you buy?
The Vivo V15 continues Vivo’s tradition to bring in the most trending features in the mid-range phones and packs in a pop-up selfie camera which allows for a clean notch free experience and has also got triple rear cameras. It captures excellent selfies with great details and the rear cameras also do a good job, especially the wide-angle lens adds a different perspective to the shots. The Vivo V15 despite being build of plastic has a good build quality and fresh gradient design which looks pleasing. It also offers a big display with good quality, good performance, big battery with good backup, fast charging, a very fast fingerprint scanner and latest software. However, despite charging a good amount, the Vivo V15 also cuts out on a few things and offers lower value when compared to its competitors. So, overall it is a good phone but much better phones are available for a lower price and you should not really go for it unless you want the pop-up camera badly!
