Asus ZenWatch 2 with Snapdragon 400 processor, 512 MB RAM coming in October
Asus already showcased the ZenWatch 2 at Asus Computex three months ago, but yesterday it took the IFA stage to announce ZenWatch 2 with all the details for its global users. Asus says that ZenWatch 2 will be available all over the world from early October.
Asus offers the ZenWatch 2 in two size variants. The 49 mm size model has 1.6 inch AMOLED screen while the smaller 45 mm version has 1.45 inch AMOLED display. It has a Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of storage. It also includes Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, and a new magnetic charging cable. It comes with sensors like 6-axis gyroscope, an accelerometer, and a heart rate sensor.
The larger model of ZenWatch 2 takes 22mm straps while the other model takes 18mm straps. The smartwatch will come in three colors variants Silver, Gun Metal, and Rose. It is IP67 certified Dust and Water resistant.
The 49 mm model is priced at $167 (approx. Rs 11,000) while the smaller variant is priced at $190 (approx. Rs 13,000).
