InFocus to launch a new smartphone in India on 28 June, most probably to come with a big battery
After being hushed for around 8 months since the launch of its flagship Epic 1, InFocus is now back and is all set to launch a new smartphone in India. The company has apparently started sending out press invites for an event scheduled on June 28.
While not much is known about the smartphone, the press invite emphasises the battery and charging capacity of it. The press invite comes with a tag line which reads, “Charge Less Do More” which certainly indicates that the smartphone will come with a huge battery and will most probably hold quick charging capabilities. Moreover, InFocus is also teasing the smartphone on Twitter claiming that it provides 50 hours of non-stop music playback time, again something to do with a large battery.

Apart from this, the teasers also show a rear mounted fingerprint scanner and Antenna bands on the top and bottom of the smartphone hinting that it with hold a metal uni-body design. We can also see the volume rockers and power button placed on the right side of the smartphone. Although the name is still a mystery, it is expected to be another mid-range smartphone from the company.
As mentioned earlier, the event is scheduled on 28th June i.e next Wednesday, where all the other details including the specifications, price and availability will be revealed. The press invite also states that Dr. Luo Zhongsheng, Global CEO for Sharp & InFocus Mobile will be present at the event.
