Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 goes on open sale from today on Flipkart and Mi.com for Rs. 35,999

Xiaomi launched its bezel-less flagship Mi Mix 2 in India last month at a price of Rs. 35,999. It is Xiaomi’s first ever bezel-less smartphone for the Indian market and it comes with minimum bezels on three side of the phone. The company launched only one variant of the smartphone which has 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. Xiaomi has finally started selling its bezel less phone from today (November 7).
The Mi Mix 2 sale has started at Flipkart and Mi.com on 12:00 PM IST and is the first regular sale of the device, after previous two flash sales. The Mi Mix 2 is also available offline via Mi Home stores and other offline partners. This is the costliest smartphone by the Chinese company in Indian market. Flipkart is not offering any deals or discount on the phone but Mi.com is offering No Cost EMI from leading banks and is also offering 12 months free subscription to Hungama Music App. The phone is also available with regular EMI options on Flipkart.
Interestingly, the phone is priced at Rs. 35,999 and will definitely give stiff competition to other similarly priced flagship smartphones like Nokia 8 and OnePlus 5.
To recall the specifications, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is powered by Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 6 GB of RAM. The variant available for sale in India has 128 GB of internal storage. The bezel less 5.99-inch screen has a FHD+ 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution. The imaging capabilities are handled by a 12 MP Sony IMX386 sensor with f/2.0 aperture, 4-axis OIS and dual tone LED flash. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 can record 4K videos. The 5 MP front-facing camera has facial recognition and is placed at the bottom of the display under the same glass which protects the screen. Fingerprint scanner sits below the dual tone LED flash at rear.
On the connectivity front, it has 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS with AGS/GLONASS and USB Type C. Unfortunately the 3.5mm headphone jack is absent, but the company is shipping the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 with a USB Type-C dongle adapter. Battery inside the device is 3400 mAh and supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging.
