Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra with 6 inch screen, 4 GB RAM, 23MP rear & 16MP front cameras launched at Rs. 29,990

After launching the flagship Xperia XZ Premium last month, Sony has now launched its Xperia XA1 Ultra smartphone in India. The smartphone was first sighted in MWC 2017 along side Sony Xperia XA1, Xperia XZs and Xperia XZ Premium. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 29,990 and is already available for sale via Sony Centers and select retail outlets across India. The Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra comes in White, Black, Pink and Gold colors.

It comes with a few exciting launch offers as well, under which all those who purchase the smartphone will get free three months subscription to Sony LIV. Apart from this, you can also avail a Rs. 1,000 discount on the Style Cover Stand worth Rs. 3,490 if you purchase it alongside the smartphone. The Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra sums up a Quick Charger UCH12 worth Rs. 1,490 in the box as well.

The smartphone sports a 6-inch Full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with Image Enhance Technology and Corning Gorilla Glass on top. The smartphone is powered by a 2.3 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P20 processor along with ARM Mali T880 GPU. The device comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory which can be further expanded upto 256 GB via microSD card. The Xperia XA1 Ultra Premium runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.

This being a Sony smartphone, holds some impressive imaging capabilities. The smartphone comes with a 23-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Hybrid Auto-Focus, 1/2.3” Exmor RS sensor and optical image stabilisation. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel camera with a 1/2.6″ sensor, f/2.0 aperture lens and a LED Flash. The smartphone comes with a dedicated camera button which makes clicking pictures more convenient.

Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra packs a 2,700 mAh battery with support for fast charging and also comes bundled with a Quick Charger UCH-12 as mentioned earlier. The connectivity options include Dual-Sim support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 820.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C (3.1). The smartphone measures 165 x 79 x 8.1 mm and weighs 188 grams.
