Smartron t.book Windows 10 2-in-1 laptop launched at Rs. 39,999

The Indian startup, Smartron has launched its first Windows 10 hybrid laptop called as t.book at Rs. 39,999. Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has invested in this company and has also became its brand ambassador. The 2-in-1 laptop comes in Grey and Orange color and will go on sale exclusively through Gadgets360 from April 8th.

The Smartron t.book features a 12.2-inch (2560×1600 pixels) WQXGA IPS 16:9 multi-touch display with oleophobic coating. It is powered by Intel Core M processor with turbo frequency of 2 GHz, and 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM. It houses 128 GB SSD storage, expandable via microSD card. It runs on Windows 10.

The t.book sports a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera, and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera. It boards two full-size USB 3.0 ports, one USB Type-C port for charging, one Micro-HDMI port, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, MIMO, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and magnetic pogo pin for external keyboard support. The company claims that device can last for 10 hours on single charge.

Smartron also promises to launch a 5.5-inch screen smartphone at an event in Hyderabad on April 18th.
