Skype for Web can now be used without creating an account
Nowadays, most of the people connect with each other via Social apps for chatting, making voice and video calls. But, to get started you need to create an account or download apps which can be a little complicated for some people. Hence, to get rid of this complication, Microsoft owned Skype can now be used without the need to create an account and sign in before starting a conversation for the Web platform.
Now, you can simply join in as a guest on Skype for Web to access its features such as chat, voice and video calls. To get started, users will have to head to Skype.com, tap to start a conversation and add your name. Skype will then provide you with a unique conversation link, which can then be shared with your contacts. You can share the chat link with individuals as well as groups. On sharing the links, other users can also join the conversation without signing in if they are also using Skype for Web.
Even without signing in, users can enjoy one to one, group chat, voice or video calling, screen sharing and file sharing as well. Moreover, the user can invite up to 300 people for chatting and up to 25 people for voice and video call. However, the conversation you had will expire after 24 hours.
As anyone can use Skype for Web right away, without even creating an account, this new feature could further increase the user base of Skype.
