Samsung Galaxy S9,S9+ fresh renders leaked ahead of Feb 25 launch; to come with ‘Intelligent Scan’

The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ are building up excitement with leaks upon leaks since last few months. In the series of leaks, a new leak has made it to the spotlight, according to which new facts have been revealed about the phones. The first thing to be revealed by the new leaks is that the Galaxy S9 and S9+ will feature an ‘Intelligent Scan’, which is a combination of a facial recognition scan and Iris Scanner. The new feature is all set to improve accuracy and security even in the low or bright light conditions in the upcoming Samsung devices.

According to reports, another significant improvement which can be expected from the flagship phones is in the Optics section. Every leak so far has been talking extensively about the innovative and powerful cameras on the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+. According to sources, the new flagship devices will make use of variable aperture setup which was introduced in December last year, in its ultra-premium W series smartphone, the Samsung W2018 flip phone in China.

Similarly like the Samsung, W2018, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ will come with a dual camera setup with one 12 MP sensor with f/1.5 and f/2.4 variable lens set up. Along with which, it carries a 12 MP fixed focus sensor at the back, to complete the dual-camera module. Upon the front side, both the models are likely to come with an 8-megapixel camera.

Talking about the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+, the phones will pack a 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display respectively, with QHD+ resolution and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphones will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC or Samsung’s Exynos 9810 SoC. For storage, the phones are expected to come with a 4 GB of RAM on the S9 and 6 GB of RAM on the S9+, with possible internal memories of 64 GB and128 GB, respectively.

Since most of the top smartphone companies have started rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo updates for their earlier launched phones. It’s fairly evident that the next flagship phones will run on the latest available software out of the box. Along with that, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ will come with Bixby hardware key as per the renders. As far as the power requirements of the phones are concerned, they are rumored to be powered by a 3000 mAh and 3500 mAh batteries respectively.
