OnePlus rolls out Android 7.1.1 based Oxygen OS 4.1.0 update for OnePlus 3 & 3T
OnePlus has brought in its latest Oxygen OS 4.1.0 update for both OnePlus 3 and 3T smartphones. The new update includes a lot of new features amongst which the highlight is the upgrade from Android Nougat 7.0 to Android Nougat 7.1.1. The oxygen OS 4.1.0 also includes Google’s March security update.
OnePlus has brought in this update with several bug fixes that bothered the users in the previous version. The Oxygen OS 4.1.0 has improved WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. The update adds up support for IPv6 which is the most recent version of Internet Protocol system. Apart from that, under a new feature, the phone will automatically switch to cellular connection when the WiFi signal is weak.
There are also some new features included in the camera, which include Blur reduction and video stability features. Both the new camera features help the users get better results in shaky and moving conditions. An another feature allows the users to capture extended screen shots.
An ‘Over the air’ (OTA) update will be rolled to a certain amount of users initially and later to all the OnePlus 3 and 3T users. You can go to settings and search for the system update to vouch for it manually.
