LG introduces new K8 and K5 smartphones
The South-Korean giant, LG has announced two new smartphones dubbed as, LG K5 and LG K8. The LG K5 comes in Gold, Silver and Titan colors and will be available in Europe, CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) and Latin America. And the LG K8 comes in Gold, Indigo and White colors and will roll out in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, CIS and Latin America.
LG K8:
The LG K8 comes with a 5 inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) In-cell Touch IPS display with 2.5D glass. It is powered by quad-core MediaTek MT6735 SoC clocked at 1.3 GHz with Mali T720 GPU. It will have either 1.5 GB RAM or 1 GB RAM (depending on the region). It offers 8 GB internal storage, expandable memory with microSD. It runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The K8 sports an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 megapixel front facing camera. It is packed with a 2125 mAh removable battery and offers connectivity options like 4G LTE/3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC.
LG K5:
The LG K5 (as seen above) features a 5 inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA display and powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, paired with 1 GB RAM. It offers 8 GB internal storage, expandable memory with microSD. It runs on latest Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The K5 sports 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2 megapixel front facing camera. It is backed by a 1900 mAh battery and offers connectivity options 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS.
