Intex Aqua 4G Mini entry-level smartphone launched in India at Rs. 4,199

Intex Aqua 4G Mini, a new entry level smartphone from Intex has been launched in India. The phone is priced at Rs. 4,199 as listed on company’s website and is available in Red and Black color variants. The smartphone can also be purchased through retail outlets.

The Intex Aqua 4G Mini comes with entry-level specifications which include a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) TN display and a 1.3 GHz MediaTek SC9832A quad-core processor under the hood with a Mali-400MP2 GPU along side. The smartphone contains 512 RAM and 2GB internal storage which can be extended up to 32 GB via MicroSD card. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

For imaging there is a 5 MP rear camera and a VGA front camera. Connectivity options include Dual-Sim support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The Aqua 4G Mini holds a 1450 mAh battery where company claims it to deliver up to 250 hrs of stand-by time and 6 hours of talk time. The phone measures 124.8 x 64.4 x 11 mm and weighs 119 grams.

Previously, Intex Aqua Trend Lite was launched as a budget smartphone by the company which was priced at Rs. 5690. Intex has lunched the Aqua 4G Mini with much lower price to be in a better position against the budget smartphones from competitors like Micromax and other home-grown companies. It will be interesting to see who succeeds to draw more buyers towards them.
