Huawei G9 Plus with 5.5-inch FHD display, 4GB RAM and 16MP rear camera launched
Huawei has launched a new smartphone in China, known as Huawei G9 Plus. The all metal unibody designed smartphone will go on sale from August 25th and the price starts at 2399 yuan (approx. Rs. 24,000).
The Huawei G9 Plus flaunts a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by a 2.0GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor, coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. The smartphone comes in two variants, one with 3GB RAM and 32 GB storage, and another with 4GB RAM and 64 GB storage. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based EMUI 4.1 on top.
The G9 Plus sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF, OIS, Sony IMX298, f/2.0 aperture, 6P lens, and 4K video recording. It also houses an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone packs a 3340mAh battery and also bears a fingerprint sensor at the rear panel. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and USB Type-C.
The Huawei G9 Plus measures 151.8×75.7×7.3mm and weighs 160 g. It is priced at 2399 yuan (approx. Rs. 24,000) for the 3GB RAM version, while there is no information on pricing of 4GB RAM yet. Also, there is no word on its Indian availability yet.
Yesterday, Huawei launched the P9 smartphone at Rs. 39,999 and Huawei Watch with stainless steel band at Rs. 22,999 in India.
