Coolpad Note 5 Lite with 3 GB RAM, 13 MP rear & 8 MP front camera launched at Rs. 8,199

Coolpad has launched its new budget smartphone Coolpad Note 5 Lite in India. This smartphone is essentially a lighter version the Coolpad Note 5 which was launched earlier. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 8,199 and will be available for sale exclusively on Amazon India from Tuesday, 21st March in Gold and Gray color options.

The Coolpad Note 5 Lite features a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 294 ppi and a 2.5D Curved glass screen with 70.6 percent screen to body ratio. It has a 1.0 GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6735CP processor coupled with a Mali 720 GPU. The smartphone contains 3 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage which can be further extended up to 64 GB via microSD card and also supports USB OTG. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based on Cool UI 8.0 out of the box.

For photography, it packs a 13 MP rear camera with auto-focus dual LED flash and an 8 MP front facing camera also with flash for selfies in low light. For connectivity there is Dual sim, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack etc.

The Coolpad Note 5 Lite has a fingerprint sensor at the back along with all the regular on board sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor. The smartphone has a 2500 mAh battery which is claimed to provide a stand-by of 200 hours.
