Asus R510JX entry level gaming laptop with Windows 10 launched at Rs. 69,990

The Taiwanese Company, Asus has launched an entry-level gaming laptop Asus R510JX, expanding its gaming range. Asus R510JX runs on the latest Windows 10 (64-bit) OS sporting a black and red themed design providing a premium look and feel.

The new gaming laptop comes with 15.6 inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display inheriting the antiglare technology that is resistant to fingerprint and smudges. Powered by the 4th Generation Intel Core i7 Quad-core 4720HQ processor clocked at 2.6GHz with 6M cache, it performs twice as better in the scenario of multicore usage.

The Asus R510JX has the latest Nvidia GTX 950M graphics card based on latest Maxwell architecture, claiming to deliver smooth & responsive performance. The Nvidia card includes the Nvidia Optimus Technology, Nvidia Battery Boost Technology, Nvidia GPU Boost 2.0, GeForce Experience and GameStream.

The entry-level gaming laptop boasts a 4GB RAM along with 1TB SATA storage with 4 cell Li-on (44Wh) battery. It weighs 2.45 kg and has 2 X USB 3.0, 1 X USB 2.0, HDMI-out, VGA, RJ-45 for connectivity.

For a fluent aural encounter, the Asus R510JX offers the Asus SonicMaster and AudioWizard powered by ICEpower technology. The large touchpad of the gaming laptop is powered by IceCool technology, keeping the palm to be cool, it also offers multi-point Smart Gesture input.

At the launch, Peter Chang, Regional Head of South Asia and Managing Director for Asus India said, “Gaming is on the rise among the Indian consumers and with R510, even the entry-level gaming enthusiasts will get an opportunity to test their skills on the high-end games. It’s the perfect blend of hardware, performance and gaming with its black and red theme styled with FHD antiglare display. It is one of the most affordable products in the gaming category which makes it a must-buy for all the aficionados.”

The Asus R510JX is offered at an entry level price of Rs. 69,990, but the information regarding availability of the new gaming laptop has not been stated by the company.
