Sony Xperia XZs with 19 MP rear camera, Snapdragon 820 to launch on 4th April in India
The Sony Xperia XZs smartphone is finally up for launch on 4th April in India. The smartphone was first sighted during the MWC 2017 along with the Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XA1 and Xperia XA1 ultra. The company has started sending invites for the launch event.
The key specifications of the Xperia XZs consist of a 5.2 inch Full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) Triluminos display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor along with Adreno 520 GPU. It has 4 GB RAM with 32 GB/64 GB internal storage options which can be further expanded up to 256 GB via microSD card. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
Being a Sony smartphone, the Xperia XZs holds above average camera capabilities. It bears a 19 MP rear camera with features like Predictive Capture, Anti-distortion shutter, Triple image sensing technology, predictive Hybrid Auto-focus and 5-axis stabilisation. There is a 13 MP front camera with Exmor RS sensor, 22 mm wide lens and ISO6400. The smartphone comes with IP65/IP68 certifications that makes the phone water resistant.
The Xperia XZs is a single-sim smartphone with 4G, Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS/GLONASS, Wi-Fi, NFC and USB Type C as connectivity options. The smartphone holds a 2900 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology. The phone measures 146 x 72 x 8.1 mm and weighs 161 gms. It comes with Ice Blue, Warm Silver and Black color options.
No detail about the price and availability of the smartphone is known yet, so for that we’ll have to wait till 4th April when the phone officially launches.
