Meizu M3E with 5.5-inch FHD display, 3GB RAM and fingerprint sensor announced
The Chinese manufacturer, Meizu has launched a new smartphone, known as Meizu M3E in its home country. The full metal unibody smartphone is priced at 1299 yuan (approx. Rs. 13,000) and will go on sale from 14th August.
The Meizu M3E comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) LTPS 2.5D curved glass display with 450 nits brightness. It is armed with MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor, clocked at 1.8GHz, coupled with Mali T860 GPU and 3GB RAM. It bears 32GB internal storage, expandable up to 128GB with microSD. The smartphone runs on YunOS with Flyme UI on top.
The M3E boasts a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED Flash, Sony IMX258 sensor, 5P lenses, f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, and 4K video recording. It also sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. It also has a fingerprint sensor integrated into the physical home button and is backed by a 3100mAh battery with fast charging.
Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1 LE, and GPS. The Meizu M3E measures 153.6 × 75.8 × 7.9mm and weighs 172 g. It will be offered in Gold, Silver, Gray, Glacial Blue and Champagne Gold color variants.
However, there is no word on its global roll out yet.
