It has raised the standard and has heated up the competition in this price segment. It comes with a good design and decent build quality for a 5,000 Rs. smartphone. It runs on the popular Snapdragon 410 Processor with 1 GB RAM and delivers good performance. It sports a 4.7 inches HD screen with 312 ppi pixel density and protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, it surely is the best proposition for the screen size and display quality and you cannot expect more at this price. The Yu Yunique has a 8 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and an LED flash, on the front it has a 2 MP selfie camera. The phone runs on the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop with nearly stock UI, you can also install the Cyanogen OS later on. It is a Dual Sim smartphone supporting 4G. It comes with an 8 GB internal storage which is expandable upto 32 GB with the help of a microSD card. The phone is backed by a 2000 mAh battery. The Lenovo A2010 is another budget phone from Lenovo. It sports a 4.5 inches screen with 480×854 pixels resolution and 218 ppi pixel density which is not very exciting. The phone comes with a very simple design. It runs on the 1 GHz MediaTek Quad Core Processor paired with 1 GB RAM, don’t expect very good performance but, it can handle basic tasks efficiently. The phone comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, running Lenovo’s Vibe UI on top. The phone has got a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front facing camera. The Lenovo A2010 is a dual sim smartphone with 4G support. It comes with 8 GB internal storage, expandable upto 32 GB. It is backed by a Li-Po 2000 mAh battery. Overall, it is a decent budget smartphone with all the basic features, can be a good choice. Lenovo has recently launched the Lenovo A1000 at Rs. 4,999 but the A2010 is a better choice.

The InFocus M2 is another good budget smartphone out there. The USP of the phone is its 8 MP front camera with LED Flash which makes it the best smartphone around 5000 Rs for selfie lovers. The phone also comes with an 8 MP rear camera, also with LED flash. The phone has a simple design with decent build quality. It sports a 4.2 inches screen with 768 x 1280 pixels resolution, turning out into a good 355 ppi pixel density. About the screen size, it is more recommended to buy a phone with atleast 4.5 inches screen to enjoy a better smartphone experience. The phone is powered by 1.2 GHz Snapdragon Quad Core Processor paired with 1 GB RAM and delivers decent performance. It runs on the older Android 4.4.2 KitKat with the company’s InLife UI. It is a dual sim smartphone and now comes with 4G support. It has got 8 GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 64 GB with the help of microSD card. The phone is backed by a 2010mAh Lithium-ion battery. Overall, it is a good phone with decent performance and features, for selfie lovers it is a great buy at this price.

We have got an excellent phone in the form of Yu Yunique under 5,000 Rs. but if you don’t want to buy it for any reason, then it will be a good idea to stretch your budget upto Rs. 6,000 and go with the Xiaomi Redmi 2, Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 or the Moto E (2nd Gen), which are all good choices. It’s not like the Lenovo A2010 or the InFocus M2 4G are bad phones but, if you increase your budget by just Rs. 1,000 you can get much better phones with long life.
