OnePlus 3T price tipped; expected to be $80 more costly than the OnePlus 3
The OnePlus 3 smartphone was launched in India in June this year at a price of Rs. 27,999. The smartphone has been a successful one and one of the best flagships at this price. Since last few days, there have been rumours of an upgraded variant of the smartphone, dubbed as OnePlus 3T.
However, the rumours included only the specifications of the OnePlus 3T smartphone. Now, according to the famous tipster Evan Blass, the OnePlus 3T will be priced $ 80 (approx. Rs. 5400) more than the current pricing of OnePlus 3 smartphone. The tipster claims that the upgraded smartphone will be priced at $ 479 (approx. Rs. 32,100).

Other rumoured specifications include, Snapdragon 821 SoC, instead of the Snapdragon 820 seen on the OnePlus 3. It is also expected to run on Android 7.0 Nougat-based OxygenOS out-of-the-box. The OnePlus 3T is said to sport the same design and build as the current flagship, and even support Dash Charge functionality.
According to some fresh rumours, the OnePlus 3T might come with LCD panel instead of the optic AMOLED display used in OnePlus 3. Now, looking at the price bump, we can expect this rumour to be true indeed. However, OnePlus CEO, Carl Pei recently tweeted out saying that “OnePlus will be staying with Optic AMOLED displays for the foreseeable future.”
However, there is no official word from the company yet. So, you are advised to take this report with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned for more updates!
