Intex Aqua 4G Strong with VoLTE and Android 5.1 Lollipop launched at Rs 4,499
Intex has launched a new entry-level smartphone dubbed as Intex Aqua 4G Strong in India at Rs 4,499. As the smartphone is now listed on company’s site, we can expect its availability in the market very soon.
The Intex Aqua 4G Strong features a 4 inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) screen with a pixel density of 233 ppi. It is powered by a 1 GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6735M) processor, clubbed with 768 MB RAM. It comes with 4 GB of inbuilt storage, expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The Aqua 4G Strong comes with voice over LTE (VoLTE) supported by the Reliance Jio network. This means that it supports two LTE bands in India – TDD 2300MHz (Band 40) and FDD 1800MHz (Band 3). It sports a 2 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3 megapixel front camera.
The Intex Aqua 4G is packed with a 1700mAh battery, rated to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and standby time of up to 240 hours. Connectivity options on the smartphone include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, 4G, VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Micro-USB.
This is the fourth smartphone Intex has launched after the Cloud Force, Aqua Twist and Cloud Breeze in this month.
