Yu Yureka Black with 13 MP & 8 MP cameras, Snapdragon 430 & 4 GB RAM launched at Rs. 8,999
Yu Televentures, today has launched its Yureka Black smartphone in India. As expected the smartphone comes with some promising specifications at a very competitive price similar to its predecessor. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 8,999 and will be available for sale exclusively via Flipkart starting from June 6 at 12 am. Yureka Black will be available in Chrome Black and Matte Black colour variants.
Coming towards the specifications of Yureka Black, it sports a 5-inch Full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixel) display with 2.5D glass and Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. Under the hood, it has got a 1.4 GHz Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 processor. The smartphone comes with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage which can be further expanded up 64 GB via microSD card. Yureka Black runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with company’s skin on top.
The optic department includes a 13 MP rear camera with Sony IMX 258 sensor and a dual-tone LED flash. The rear camera comes with features such as night-mode, beauty filters, Super Pixel and HDR mode. There is also an 8 MP front camera coupled with a LED flash for better selfies in low light.
Talking about the design, the smartphone holds an all-metal body with a complete black exterior similar to what we had already speculated from the teaser. There is a fingerprint sensor embedded in the physical home button placed on the front of the smartphone. Yureka Black packs a 3,000 mAh battery along with power saving mode to keep it running for long hours. For connectivity, there is Dual-sim support, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB and GPS. The smartphone measures 142.5 × 69.9 × 8.73 mm and weighs 150g.
Yureka Black comes under the budget segment and is offering quite a lot considering the price at which it is available. It could prove to be a serious competition to other smartphones available in the segment, especially the recently launched Xiaomi Redmi 4 whose 4 GB variant costs slightly more that Yureka Black.
