YU Yureka Black first batch sold out, sells at a rate of 80 units per minute on the first day
Micromax’s sub-brand YU is back with a bang. Company’s latest smartphone Yureka Black is becoming fairly popular amongst the buyers as its first batch has already been sold out after going for sale on 6th June via Flipkart. The budget smartphone from YU is priced at Rs. 8,999 and comes with some well to do specs which apparently is one of the reasons for its success.
YU Yureka Black was launched on 1st June in India and went for sale on 6th June where its first batch was sold out on the first day itself. Yureka Black’s Chrome Black variant went out of stock in less than 15 hours of going live. As per the stats shared by Flipkart, Yureka Black clocked record sales with the smartphone selling at the rate of 80 units per minutes. Yureka Black has now become the fastest selling Yureka smartphone on Flipkart. Apart from this, Flipkart also stated that the smartphone had over half a million notify me’s ahead of the sale, and about 2 lakh unique visitors to the product page.
Coming towards the specifications of Yureka Black, it sports a 5-inch Full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixel) display with 2.5D glass and Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. Under the hood, it has got a 1.4 GHz Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 processor. The smartphone comes with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage which can be further expanded up 64 GB via microSD card. Yureka Black runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with company’s skin on top.
The optic department includes a 13 MP rear camera with Sony IMX 258 sensor and a dual-tone LED flash. The rear camera comes with features such as night-mode, beauty filters, Super Pixel and HDR mode. There is also an 8 MP front camera coupled with LED flash for better selfies in low light. The Yureka Black houses a 3,000 mAh battery along with 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone measures 142.5 × 69.9 × 8.73 mm and weighs 150g.
