Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G price slashed by Rs. 2000
Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4G has got a price cut by a whooping Rs 2,000 from its original launch price. Last year when Xiaomi launched it’s 4G phablet it was available for Rs 9,999 and now almost 6 months later it has received its first price cut in India making the smartphone available for Rs 7,999.

Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4G has a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with Glass-film-film (GFF) Architecture, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8928 cortex A-7, Quad-core 1.6GHz processor, 2GB RAM , 8GB internal memory with micro SD card slot(supports up to 64GB), MIUI v5 (upgradable to MIUI v6)based on Android 4.4 (KitKat).
It has rear auto focus camera of 13 MP with LED flash, 1080p HD video recording, f/2.2 Aperture, also with 5MP front facing camera. Redmi Note 4G comes with a 3100 mAh lithium-ion polymer battery which lasts long enough. Connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with Wi-Fi Direct and hotspot functionality, Bluetooth 4.0, a Micro-USB port with OTG support, and A-GPS. 4G LTE with support for LTE-TD 2300MHz (Band 40) and LTE-FDD 1800MHz (Band 3) for India.
So, it is clear that it packs pretty good specs. But, why it is available for such cheap price? Competition! Recently, Lenovo has launched some great phones and with the new K3 Note which has got much better specs, the market has grown to new heights for the mid-range phablets. So, a price cut was the only way to maintain the good sales for the Redmi Note 4G.
