Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 to be available via offline stores in India from 18 March; prices to start at Rs. 11,499
Xiaomi, today has announced that their Redmi Note 4 smartphone will be available through offline stores in India from 18th March. The smartphone will be available in offline markets of North region and large format retailers across South region. It will be available through offline stores of Delhi, Jaipur and Chandigarh from 22nd March.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was launched in January this year and was made available for sale exclusively via Mi.com and Flipkart from 23rd January. Xiaomi recently stated that over 1 million units of Redmi Note 4 have been sold in around 45 days, making it the fastest selling online smartphone in India till date.
The prime features of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 include a 5.5-inch 1080 pixel display, a 2.0 GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor, it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 8.0 running on top. It has a 13 MP f/2.0 aperture rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. It bears a 4100 mAh battery and finger print sensor at the back. The smartphone has 4G VoLTE, WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS and GLONASS for its connectivity.
The Redmi Note 4 has already been made available for pre-orders through LFR’s from 14th March till 17th March and from today i.e 16th March till 21st March it will be available for pre-orders through retail stores across Delhi, Jaipur and Chandigarh. The smartphone will be sold at starting price of Rs. 11,499 at offline stores which is slightly more than the online starting price of Rs. 9,999.
Xiaomi also announced that the pre-orders will be available offline on all Xiaomi products in future. Let’s see if the Redmi Note 4 picks up same pace in offline sales as it did online.
