Xiaomi Redmi 4 with full metal body and fingerprint sensor leaked in images
Xiaomi seems to be working on the Redmi 4, successor to its recently launched Redmi 3S smartphone, as the images of the upcoming smartphone got leaked on Playfuldroid.com.
The images shared on the website shows the Redmi 4 with a full metallic body and an edge-to-edge curved display. It will sport a circular shaped camera lens at the rear panel, along with LED flash sitting right beside it, and the fingerprint scanner below it. The capacitive buttons at the front and a Micro-USB port with speaker grilles on both sides on the bottom side can be seen. The volume and the power buttons are housed on the right edge of the device.
As for the specifications, rumor suggests that it may have MediaTek Helio X20 processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based MIUI 8.
The Redmi 4 is expected to be unveiled sometime in mid-September this year.
