Xiaomi Mi Max with 6.44-inch FHD display spotted on Tenaa ahead of May 10 launch
Xiaomi is all set to launch the Mi Max and MIUI 8 on May 10. But a recent glimpse of the smartphone on Tenaa, confirms its specs ahead of the launch.
According to the Chinese telecom regulator site, the Mi Max will feature a huge 6.44-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display. The innards of the phablet are similar to of Redmi Note 3, like a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 650 hexa-core processor with Adreno 510 GPU. Also, it will be available in two variants, one with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage while another with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. The smartphone will run the latest MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Mi Max may also sport a 16 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera. It is said to be backed by a 4000mAh battery and unlike our previous leaks, the smartphone can be seen sporting the fingerprint sensor at the back rather than integrated into the physical home button which is absent in this leak.
Yesterday, Xiaomi announced that it has delayed the launch of Mi Band 2 by a month.
