Xiaomi Mi A1 gets a permanent price cut of Rs. 1,000 in India

On Sunday, the Managing Director of Xiaomi India, Mr. Manu Kumar Jain gave Xiaomi consumers a news to rejoice about. Through a tweet, Mr. Jain announced about a permanent price cut of Rs. 1,000 on its popular Xiaomi Mi A1 which comes under the Android One program. The smartphone which was launched in September this year, came with a price tag of Rs. 14,999. After the announcement of the price cut, the phone will be now available to the consumers at Rs. 13,999. With this price cut, Xiaomi is eyeing to get an upper hand over the other popular phones like Moto G5s Plus and the newly launched Honor 7X.

The Xiaomi Mi A1, which is available for purchasing only via Mi.com and Flipkart, is already available at the reduced prices. All those customers who possess an Axis Bank Buzz Credit Card can avail an additional discount of 5% on their purchase of Xiaomi Mi A1 from Flipkart. It is also available at no-cost EMI, starting from Rs. 1,556 per month. The Mi A1 is available to consumers in three body-colour options of Black, Gold and Rose Gold and is packed with amazing range of features. Talking about the specifications, the Xiaomi Mi A1 features a 5.5-inch with 1080×1920 pixels (FHD) display and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage (expandable via microSD up to 128 GB) and features a hybrid dual-SIM configuration.
The Xiaomi Mi A1 features a dual camera set up at the rear with one 12 MP sensor having 1.25-micron pixel size, a wide-angle f/2.2 aperture lens and another 12 MP sensor having 1-micron pixel size, which comes with a f/2.6 aperture telephoto lens. On the front, it has a 5 MP camera with beautification mode, for taking selfies.
