Xiaomi Mi 4c will launch on Sep 22, will come in two variants with 2GB & 3GB RAM
Xiaomi co-founder and president, Lin Bin, has announced that the long rumored Xiaomi Mi 4c will be unveiled on September 22. The Xiaomi president also confirms on Weibo that it will come in two versions- one with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, and another with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
According to the rumors we have gathered till now, the Xiaomi Mi 4c will sport a 5.5 inch Full HD display. The previous leaks also tell us that it will have 1.8 GHz Snapdragon 808 processor. It will be packed with a 3000mAh battery and will come with the latest MiUi 7 OS based on Android.
The Mi 4c will feature a 13-megapixel rear camera, and 5 megapixel front-facing camera. If the rumors turn out true, it will be Xiaomi’s first phone which will have Type-C USB port for faster transfer speed and charging.
As far as pricing and availability are concerned, Xiaomi Mi 4c is reported to be available at price of CNY 1499 (approximately Rs. 15,650) for the 16GB model, while 32 GB variant may cost a little more. Whereas, it is expected to be available to buy starting from October in China, it is hard to tell when it will be launching in India but seeing a good long festive season ahead, we can expect the phone to make an early entry in India.
