The Fast-Rising Chinese mobile company Xiaomi is all set to launch its another new flagship smartphone – “Xiaomi Mi 4” in India on January 28. Xiaomi is no longer selling its former flagship Xiaomi Mi 3 in India which was the first flagship in India. Thus, the launch of Xiaomi Mi 4 will be a vital factor for company’s position in India.
Xiaomi has just unveiled its new flagship phablets Mi Note and Mi Note Pro priced at Rs. 27, 900 and Rs. 32,900 respectively. Along with these Xiaomi has also launched Headphones and Xiaomi Mi Box Mini priced at Rs. 2,000.
Considering the trend of Xiaomi’s Tuesday Flash Sale, Xiaomi Mi 4 will go on sale from 3rd February via flipkart. However, Xiaomi has not revealed any details regarding its price yet. Being a flagship phone we can expect it to be around Rs. 20,000. Xiaomi had already unveiled Mi 4 last year.
As far as specifications are concerned, Xiaomi Mi 4 is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz alongside 3 GB of RAM. It features a 5-inch full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) JDI OGS full lamination display. The smartphone is available in two variants, a 16 GB and 64 GB.
Xiaomi Mi 4 flaunts a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera, with both featuring Sony’s stacked CMOS sensors. It is backed by a 3080 mAh Li-ion battery. It will also support 4G LTE in India.
Xiaomi has crossed a major milestone in India – as it managed to sell 1 million smartphones in the country since its entry in July. It will be interesting to see how Xiaomi Mi 4 will add to the company’s sale in India, considering India is a major market for Xiaomi.
