Xiaomi launches Redmi Note 4 with 5.5-inch FHD display, Helio X20 SoC and 4100mAh battery
Xiaomi has finally launched a new smartphone, known as Redmi Note 4 in China. The all-metal unibody design smartphone will be available for order from August 26th, and price starts at 899 Yuan (approx. Rs. 9,100).
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with up to 72% NTSC color gamut. It is armed with a powerful Deca-Core MediaTek Helio X20 processor, clocked at 2.1GHz, paired with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. It will be offered in 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and 3GB RAM with 64GB storage variants. The smartphone runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.The Redmi Note 4 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF, and f/2.0 aperture. It also has a 5-megapixel of a front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide-angle lens. The smartphone is backed by a 4100mAh battery with fast charging and also houses a fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor.Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n (2.4 / 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. The smartphone measures 151 x 76 x 8.35mm and weighs 175 g. It will be offered in Gold, Silver, and Gray color variants.
The Redmi Note 4 is priced at 899 yuan (approx. Rs. 9,000) for the 2GB RAM with 16GB storage version and the 3GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs 1199 yuan (approx. Rs. 12,000).
