Vodafone joins Data War: Offers free 9 GB 4G data with 1 GB data pack on new 4G Smartphones
Reliance Jio’s entry has initiated a Data War in the Indian Telecom market. Vodafone is the latest telecom to join this league of data war. Few days ago, Bharti Airtel also introduced a lucrative offer for their prepaid customers. However, Vodafone has gone a step ahead with this new offer as the deal breaks down to as low as Rs. 25 per GB, making it half of the offerings from other telcos.
Vodafone has announced this offer for new 4G smartphone handsets that is which were not used on the Vodafone network in the last 6 months. This offer is available for both prepaid and postpaid customers.
This offer from Vodafone includes additional 9 GB free 4G data on data packs of 1 GB and larger (Rs. 250 and above) with a minimum validity of 28 days. The offer is open for the next three months and it is valid in only 16 circles where the company offers high-speed data connectivity.
The additional 9 GB free 4G data can be availed anytime in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata circle, while the Vodafone users in the other circles such as UP (West), UP (East), Haryana, Karnataka, Gujarat, West Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra & Goa, Assam, North East states and Rajasthan can avail this free 9 GB 4G data only between 12 am – 6 am daily. Subscribers will also get access to a free subscription of Vodafone Play.
