Vivo X9, X9 Plus and Vivo Xplay6 flaghsip smartphones launched in China
The Chinese smartphone company Vivo has launched three new smartphones, dubbed as the Vivo X9, X9 Plus and the Vivo Xplay6 at an event in China. Vivo recently launched the selfie-focused smartphone V5 in India.
The USP of the Vivo X9 and X9 Plus is the dual front-camera setup which includes a 20MP camera with Sony IMX376 sensor and f/2.0 aperture and a secondary 8MP camera for capturing depth information. On the rear, both sports a 16MP camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and PDAF. The fingerprint sensor is embedded into the physical home button.
Both the smartphones have full metal unibody design with unique U-shaped antenna design. Both come in 64GB and 128GB internal storage options. Both the smartphones are dual-sim and run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Funtouch OS 3.0 on top. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS.
The Vivo X9 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor, coupled with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB RAM. It is backed by a 3050 mAh battery with fast charging support. It measures at 152.6x74x6.99mm and weighs at 154g.
On the other hand, the Vivo X9 Plus sports a 5.88-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a Octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor (Quad 1.95GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.44GHz A53 CPUs), coupled with Adreno 510 GPU and 6GB RAM. It is backed by a 4000 mAh battery with fast charging support.
The Vivo X9 and Vivo X9 Plus come in Gold and Rose Gold colors. The Vivo X9 is priced at 2798 Yuan (approx. Rs. 27,650) for the 64GB version and the 128GB version costs 2998 Yuan (approx. Rs. 29,630) and is available for pre-order in China. The pricing of the X9 Plus will be revealed on 26th December.
The Vivo Xplay6 sports a 5.46-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) Super AMOLED dual curved edge display. It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 820 processor, coupled with Adreno 530 GPU and 6GB DDR4 RAM. It comes with 128GB of internal storage.
The Vivo Xplay6 sports dual rear-camera setup which includes a 12MP camera with dual-tone LED flash, 4-axis OIS, Sony IMX362 sensor, 1.4μm pixel size, f/1.7 aperture, PDAF and a 5MP secondary camera for capturing depth information. On the front, it sports a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. The fingerprint sensor is embedded into the physical home button.
The dual-sim smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Funtouch OS 3.0 on top. It is backed by a 4080 mAh battery with fast charging support. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. It measures at 153.8x 73.55x 8.4mm and weighs at 178g.
The Vivo Xplay6 comes in Gold and Rose Gold colors and is priced at 4498 Yuan (approx. Rs. 44,450). It is now available for order in China.
