Super Mario Run for Android to be released on 23rd March
In the end of December last year, Nintendo had started pre-registrations for the Android version of Super Mario Run on the Google play store. The company later announced that the game will be available in March 2017. Pumping the excitement of Android users, the Japanese gaming company has now announced with a Tweet that Super Mario Run will be available for Android on Thursday, 23rd March.

Nintendo had already launched the game for iOS users on 15th December last year. The game counted a record 4 million downloads on iPhone and iPads in just 4 days after the release. It was then, when Nintendo decided to bring it in for Android as well, considering it has a very large user base. Super Mario Run will be directly available in the version 2.0 for Android where as existing iOS users will have to get it updated.
The game holds a nostalgic value for all the 90’s kids, who have grown up now! In the mobile version, it can be played single handedly, controlling Mario with different combinations of taps to make it jump and navigate.
As per the company, first few levels are available for free however, unlocking all the levels will require a one time purchase which is payable. Similar to iOS, the Android version of the game is also expected to provide the first three levels for free and unlocking the remain content will require you to pay an amount of $9.99 which translates to Rs. 603 (approx).
