Sony’s new Flagship Xperia Z5 & Xperia Z5 Premium launched in India starting at Rs. 52,990
After making its strong presence at #IFA2015 event, Sony has finally launched the Xperia Z5 Dual and Xperia Z5 Premium in India, at price tag of Rs. 52,990 and Rs. 62,990. The Xperia Z5 Dual will be available from 23rd October, while the Xperia Z5 Premium will go on sale from 7th November.
The Xperia Z5 Dual and Xperia Z5 Premium, both the smartphone have some similar specifications, For instance, both are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 quad-core processor, clubbed with Adreno 405 GPU and 3 GB RAM. Then, both come with 32 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 200 GB via micro SD card. Both the smartphones run on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Xperia UI on top.
On the photography front, both Xperia Z5 Dual and Xperia Z5 Premium sport a 23 megapixel rear camera with Exmor RS sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 24mm focal length and autofocus in just 0.03 seconds. The rear camera is also capable of recording a 4K video. On the front, they have a 5 megapixel selfie snapper with Exmor R sensor and 25mm wide-angle lens.
Both the smartphones are IP68 certified that makes them dust and water-resistant. They also feature a fingerprint scanner incorporated on the side mounted power button. Both the devices support Qualcomm’s quick charging 2.0 and are 4G LTE capable.
The only difference between these two smartphone is in the display and battery.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium:
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is the world’s first phone to have 4K display. It flaunts a 5.5 inch (3480×2160 pixels) of IPS display with pixel density of over 806 ppi. It is packed with a massive 3430mAh battery that can last for two days on single charging. It will be available in Gold and Chrome color.
Sony Xperia Z5 Dual:
The Sony Xperia Z5 Dual comes with 5.2 inch Full HD (1920 x1080 pixels) IPS LCD screen with pixel density at 424 ppi. It gets its juice from the 2900mAh battery. It is sized at 146 x 72 x 7.3 mm and weighs around 154 grams. The Xperia Z5 will be available in the Gold, Green and Black color variant.
The Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Premium will be available at all Sony Centers, Xperia Flagship stores and major electronic stores across India.
