Sony Xperia XZs with 19 MP rear camera and super slow motion video capabilities launched at Rs. 49,990
Japanese Tech-giant Sony has launched its flagship Xperia XZs smartphone in India. To recall, the smartphone was first sighted during the MWC 2017 along with the Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XA1 and Xperia XA1 Ultra. The company hypes its camera capabilities with the highlight being the 960 fps super slow motion video recording feature. The Sony Xperia XZs is priced at Rs. 49,990 and will be available for sale across offline retail stores and online on Flipkart from 11th April. The smartphone comes in Ice Blue, Warm Silver and Black color options. Also, the customers who pre-book the phone will get a free Wireless Speaker SRS-XB10 worth Rs. 4,990.
Specifications of the Xperia XZs consist of a 5.2 inch Full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) Triluminos display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor along with Adreno 520 GPU. It has 4 GB RAM with 64 GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256 GB via microSD card. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
As per the company, the Xperia XZs holds exceptional camera capabilities. It bears a 19 MP ‘Motion Eye’ rear camera with features like Predictive Capture, Anti-distortion shutter, Triple image sensing technology and predictive Hybrid Auto-focus. There is a 13 MP front camera with Exmor RS sensor, 22 mm wide lens and ISO6400. The highlight of smartphone as already mentioned is that it can capture slow motion videos at 960 fps, the Xperia XZs is the first smartphone to do so.
The Xperia XZs is a dual-sim (Nano-sim) smartphone with 4G, Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS/GLONASS, Wi-Fi, NFC and USB Type-C as connectivity options. The smartphone holds a 2900 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology. Also, the smartphone comes with IP65/IP68 certifications that makes the phone water resistant. The phone measures 146 x 72 x 8.1 mm and weighs 161 gms.
