Seagate Backup Plus Ultra Slim portable HDD with thickness of 9.6mm launched in India
Seagate India has launched the world’s thinnest external hard drive, known as Seagate Backup Plus Ultra Slim. The hard drive is now available in two variants, 1TB variant at Rs. 5,699 and 2 TB variant at Rs. 8,399. Both are offered in Gold and Platinum metallic colors, exclusively via Amazon.
The Seagate Backup Plus Ultra Slim hard drives comes with 200 GB of free Microsoft OneDrive cloud storage with a two-year subscription. It is compatible with Mac OS X 10.7 or higher or Window 7 or higher operating system and also includes USB 3.0 port for speedy transfer of data.
The company says Backup Plus Ultra Slim is a 2.5-inch HDD that is just 9.6mm thin – that makes it 50 percent thinner than other 2TB drives in the market.
