SanDisk, a company know for its flash storage devices has launched its latest products for the Indian market – the Extreme Pro and Extreme Go USB flash drives and SanDisk Ultra 256 GB micro SD card. Let’s get into the details of these devices one by one:
SanDisk Extreme Pro USB 3.1:
The Extreme Pro comes in 256 GB and 128 GB capacity variants. It has reading speed of up to 420 MB/s and a writing speed of up to 380 MB/s. It is wrapped with a sturdy aluminium metal casing which makes it durable as well. You can plug it into any USB 2.0 or 3.0 port due to its backward compatibility. It comes with RescuePRO Deluxe data recovery software and SanDisk SecureAccess software to help recover accidentally deleted files or to protect private data. The SanDisk Extreme Pro is first generation 3.1 USB drive which is claimed to transfer a 4 GB file in About 15 Sec. The 128 GB variant is available for Rs. 8,490 and 256 GB for Rs. 13,990.
SanDisk Extreme Go USB 3.1:
The Extreme Go comes in 128 GB and 64 GB capacity variants. It has reading speed of up to 200 MB/s and a writing speed of up to 150 MB/s. You can plug it into any USB 2.0 or 3.0 port due to its backward compatibility. It comes with the same software as that of the Extreme pro. The 64 GB variant of the Extreme Go is priced at Rs. 3,990 and 128 GB at Rs. 5,990.
SanDisk Ultra 256 GB micro SDXC UHS-I card:
The Ultra 256 GB micro SD card has a reading speed of up to 95 MB/s. It is equipped with new A1 Compliance which loads Android apps from the SD card with in no time. It stores app from the devices running Android 6.0 and higher. The SanDisk Memory Zone app automatically move files from your device to your memory card to free up space and allows you to view, access and back your phone’s files at one location. It is priced for Rs. 18,990.
