Samsung Notebook 9 line-up updated with 13.3-inch and 15-inch models sporting FHD display and fingerprint sensor
Samsung has updated their Notebook 9 line-up of laptops with new 13.3-inch and 15-inch models that come with some enhanced features. Samsung announced the Notebook 9 series laptops at CES in January, this year.
Both the notebooks feature an ultra-slim bezel and near edge-to-edge display that reclines 180°. The highlight of both the notebooks is that they include a built-in fingerprint sensor as well as support for Windows Hello, which enables secure sign in with a single touch, so users can log into the Windows 10 device without typing in a password.
Connectivity options on both the models include Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11ac 2X2, Internal Dual Array Digital Mic, a USB Type C port, 2 USB 3.0 ports, a HDMI port, mini Ethernet, microSD, HP/mic. Both have 2 speakers powered at 1.5W and an integrated camera.
As far as specifications are concerned, the 15-inch Samsung Notebook 9 sports a Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display. It is powered by 7th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, that can be paired with 4GB/8GB LPDDR4 RAM and up to 128GB/256GB SSD storage.
The 15-inch Notebook 9 provides battery life for up to 12 hours, and the Quick Charging feature enables users to fully charge the laptop in just 20 minutes. It measures at 347.9×229.4×14.9mm and weighs at 2.17 lbs (0.98 kg).
On the other hand, the 13.3-inch model is powered by 7th Gen Intel Core i5 processor and configurable up to 16GB for i7. It measures at 309.4x208x13.9mm and weighs at 1.8lbs (0.81 kg), thus slightly lighter than its bigger sibling. It also sports a Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and rest of the specifications also remains the same.
