Samsung launches Galaxy J2 with Quad Core Processor, 1GB RAM, 4G, Lollipop 5.1 at Rs 8490
Samsung has launched the entry-level 4G smartphone, Galaxy J2 in India. The upgraded version of Galaxy J1, Samsung Galaxy J2 (SM-J200F) is priced at Rs 8,490.
The Galaxy J2 features a 4.5-inch QHD display. It is powered by a 32-bit Quad-Core Exynos 3475 processor clocked at 1.3GHz and coupled with 1GB of RAM. It comes with an 8GB of inbuilt memory, which is expandable via microSD card. It runs on latest Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
The Galaxy J2 houses a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. The 4G smartphone offers connectivity features like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and USB 2.0. It is packed with a 2000mAh battery.
Commenting on the launch, Asim Warsi, Vice President, Marketing, IT & Mobile at Samsung India, said “The genesis of Galaxy J2 is Samsung’s desire to extend a differentiated 4G experience by addressing three key consumer requirements of a rich and immersive display, a cost-efficient Internet experience, and an enhanced performance device.”
The Samsung Galaxy J2 measures 136 x 69 x 8.3 mm and will be available in Black and White color variants.
