Samsung Galaxy Tab A series launched with two new 8″ and 9.7″ Tablets
Samsung has introduced its new range of “Galaxy Tab A” Tablets which includes two models – one is an 8-inch model and the other is a 9.7-inch model. Samsung has launched these tablets in US market which will go on sale from May 1. As of now, there are no details regarding global availability of this tablets.
Samsung has updated their body design, that gives this tablets a new refreshing look. Both the tablets are slim, lightweight and easy to carry. What makes these new tablets stand out from Samsung’s previous tablet offerings are their sizes and their design. Both tablets have a 4:3 aspect ratio, which is a significant change from the 16:10 tablets that Samsung has produced in the past. Both tablets also have a full metal chassis, which will be an enormous improvement over the plastic construction of Samsung’s other tablets.
As far as specifications are concerned, both the tablets are very similar except screen size and battery capacity. Both the tablets features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, coupled with 2 GB of RAM. The HD display produces the resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. Tablets are available in two variants of internal storage 16 GB/32 GB and expandable up to 128 GB via Micro SD card.
These tablets sports a 5 MP rear camera and a 2 MP selfie camera. Both Tablets runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. The 8-inch tablet is backed by 4200 mAh and 9.7-inch tablet by 6000 mAh battery. The 9.7-inch tablet supports S pen also.
