Samsung Galaxy On8 with 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display and 3 GB RAM launched in India at Rs. 15,900
Last week, Samsung was teasing the launch of NextOn series smartphone on Flipkart and today, Samsung has officially launched the ‘Galaxy On8’ smartphone in India at a price tag of Rs. 15,900. Samsung had recently launched its Galaxy On7 (2016) smartphone in China.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Galaxy On8 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display. The smartphone packs brushed metal finish on the back with diamond cut metal frame on the sides. It is powered by 1.6 GHz Octa-core Exynos 7580 SoC processor. The processor is paired with 3 GB of RAM. It comes with 16 GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card.
The Galaxy On8 packs 13-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash and a 5-megapixel camera on the front with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash as well.

The Galaxy On8 is a dual-sim smartphone running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with the TouchWiz UI laid on top. It is backed by a 3300 mAh battery. On the connectivity part, it features Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and supports 4G VoLTE. The device measures 151.7 x 76.0 x 7.8mm and weighs 169 grams.
The device will be available in White, Gold and Black colour options and it will go on sale exclusively on Flipkart in the Big Billion Days sale starting from October 2nd.
