Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro with 5-inch HD display, Android 5.1 Lollipop launched at Rs. 8,490
Samsung on Tuesday, 4th April, launched its ‘Galaxy J3 Pro’ smartphone in India. The Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro is a budget smartphone and is another addition to its ‘J’ series in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 8,490 and is the first ever product from Samsung that is exclusive to online purchase only. The Galaxy J3 Pro will be available exclusively on Paytm Mall from 6th April in Black, White and Gold color variants. The smartphone comes with features like Ultra Data Saving (USD) mode which saves up to 50% of internet data and S-bike mode which notifies the caller when user is riding.
The specifications of the smartphone include a 5-inch screen with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) super AMOLED display. The device is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via MicroSD card. The Galaxy J3 Pro runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
As far as the optics are concerned, the smartphone holds an 8 MP f/2.2 aperture rear camera with Auto-focus and LED flash. There’s also a 5 MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture. For connectivity, the smartphone is provided with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, NFC, FM radio and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The Galaxy J3 Pro contains a 2,600 mAh battery and bears dimensions of 42.3 x 71 x 7.9 mm with 139 gms weight.
