Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017), Galaxy J5 (2017) and Galaxy J7 (2017) launched in Europe
After several leaks and online spotting, the 2017 iterations of Samsung Galaxy J3, Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 smartphones have now been officially announced in Europe. The company is flaunting the metal design of the smartphone along with other technical advancements that will draw more attention towards them. Let’s get down to the specifications and pricing details of the smartphones one-by-one.
Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017):
The Galaxy J5 (2017) sports a 5.2-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixel) AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.6 GHz Exynos 7870 octa-core processor with Mali T830 GPU. The smartphone comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded upto 256 GB via microSD card. The device will be running on Android Nougat 7.0 out-of-the-box. In the imaging department, we are looking at a 13 MP camera on the front as well as back. The smartphone also has a LED flash coupled with both, front and rear cameras. The smartphone has an all metal built type as mentioned earlier and packs a 3,000 mAh battery for its powering.
Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017):
Talking about the Galaxy J7 (2017), it sports a 5.5-inch Full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixel) AMOLED display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.6 GHz octa-core processor same as that of the J5 but comes with 3 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. The Galaxy J7 (2017) will also be running Android Nougat 7.0. For imaging, the smartphone includes a 13 MP camera on both, front and rear side same as that of J5. The Galaxy J7 houses a 3,600 mAh battery which is slightly bigger as compared to its 2016 version.
Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017):
Coming down to the Galaxy J3 (2017), the smartphone was earlier launched in May in US by AT&T with the same name but that appears to be different variant as there are several dissimilarities in terms of specifications. The smartphone sports a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixel) AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.4 GHz processor. The smartphone comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via microSD card. The device runs on Android Nougat 7.0. In the imaging department there is a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. The smartphone packs a 2,400 mAh battery for its powering.
Pricing and availability:
As far as the pricing is concerned, the Galaxy J5 (2017) is priced around EUR 279 (roughly Rs. 19,800) and will be available by the end of June. Also the bigger variant that is the Galaxy J7 (2017) comes at a price of EUR 339 (roughly Rs. 24,000) and will be available in the month of July. As of now, the price and availability of the Galaxy J3 (2017) has not not been revealed but it is expected to be priced around EUR 219 (roughly Rs. 15,800) and will be available during August in Europe.
