Samsung Galaxy C9 with 6 GB RAM and Snapdragon 652 SoC spotted on Geekbench
Samsung debuted the ‘C Series’ with Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 smartphones earlier this year in China. Now, a new smartphone dubbed as Galaxy C9 with model number SM-C9000 has been spotted on Geekbench benchmark listing as well as AnTuTu benchmark listing.
According to the Geekbench listing, the Galaxy C9 is expected to sport 6 GB RAM along with Snapdragon 652 SoC clocked at 1.4 GHz. It is worth noting that this would be the first smartphone from Samsung to feature 6 GB RAM and if the sources are to be believed this could be a mid-range smartphone which will set a new benchmark for other big brands. It will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The smartphone was also spotted on AnTuTu listing which reveals some further specifications which includes Full HD display (1920 x 1080 pixels), 16 MP camera on rear as well as front and the internal storage shown is 64 GB.
Now, being listed on Geekbench and AnTuTu listing, we can expect this mid-range smartphone with high-end specs in coming month or so. As the earlier C series smartphones are limited to China only till now, it seems that this new Galaxy C9 would be making its way first to China only and then to the rest of the world.
