Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro with 6GB RAM, Snapdragon 653 SoC, 4000mAh battery launched in India at Rs. 36,900
As speculated, Samsung has officially launched the ‘Galaxy C9 Pro’ smartphone in India at a price tag of Rs. 36,900. The smartphone was launched in China in October last year.
The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro sports a 6-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) AMOLED display. It is powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor clocked at 1.95 GHz, coupled with Adreno 510 GPU. The processor is paired with 6GB of RAM, which is the first 6GB RAM smartphone from the company.
The smartphone packs a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and a 16-megapixel camera on the front as well. It comes with 64GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.
The dual sim smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Samsung’s own UI on top. It is backed by a big 4000mAh battery with fast-charging support. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the physical home button. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth v 4.2, ANT+, USB-Type-C and NFC. It measures at 162.9×80.7×6.9mm and weighs in at 189g.

The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro comes in Gold and Black colour variants. The smartphone will be available for pre-booking through select stores and online platforms from 27th January. While, the device will be available across all retail channels in the latter half of February. The company is also offering one-time screen replacement for a period of 12 months on pre-booking.
