Samsung Galaxy A8, Company’s Slimmest Smartphone Launched in China
Samsung has recently listed its slimmest ever smartphone Galaxy A8 on its Chinese Website. The phone has an all metal body with a thickness of just 5.9 mm and it weighs 151 g. The phone has a nice metallic design with aluminium back.
Despite being the slimmest phone from Samsung, it manages to pack tons of features. It sports a 5.7-inch Full HD (1920×1080) OLED screen powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU. The phone comes with 2 GB RAM with 16 GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card.
The Galaxy A8 features a 16 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front camera. It packs a non removable 3050 mAh battery which is larger than the flagship Galaxy S6. Other features include a fingerprint sensor and a hand-wave detector that turns on a photo timer.
Though the company hasn’t revealed when it will launch all over world, for now its available in China for 3,499 Yuan (around Rs 32,700).
