Oppo Neo 7 with Snapdragon 410, Android 5.1 & 4G support launched at Rs. 9990
As expected, Oppo has launched the newest member of the Neo series, dubbed as Neo 7 in India. The device is priced at Rs. 9,990 and will be available in the market within this week. It comes in Black and White color variants.
The Oppo Neo 7’s USP is its reflective rear surface, on which company said “The back of the handset has 13 layers of coating refined through a series of 40 processes to increase strength, giving the surface an impressive thinness of only 0.56 mm. Special laminating process make the Neo 7 look smooth and clear and the handset reflects light like a mirror.” The smartphone boasts a 5 inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) IPS display and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop based Color OS 2.1 on top.
As for the other specifications, the Neo 7 is powered by 64- bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) CPU clocked at 1.2 GHz, coupled with Adreno 306 GPU and 1 GB RAM. It offers 16 GB built-in memory which is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card. It is backed by a 2420 mAh battery.
The Oppo Neo 7 sports an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5 megapixel selfie camera. The dual SIM smartphone offers connectivity features like 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, micro-USB, and GPS. It measures 142.7 x 71.7 x 7.5mm and weighs 141 grams.
