Should You Buy?
Overall, with the Oppo K1, Oppo has tried to deliver more for the price and has introduced a real challenger for the competitors. It packs in an excellent and powerful processor, one of the best front cameras for the price, good quality AMOLED display, good rear camera and a big battery but the real strength of the Oppo K1 is the introduction of the in-display fingerprint scanner at a low price, especially when it now sells for less than Rs. 15,000. However, everything’s not good in the phone, it has a plastic body with gradient back which may or may not please users according to their tastes and more importantly, it still hasn’t got the Android 9 Pie update. When you see the Oppo K1 as a whole and compare it with the phones around, the only thing which makes it stand out is the in-display fingerprint scanner. So, only if you are really desperate for the in-display fingerprint scanner, go with the Oppo K1 otherwise, there are much better phones for the same price.
