Motorola Moto M with 5.5-inch FHD display, Helio P15 SoC, 4GB RAM launched in India starting at Rs. 15,999
Finally, the Motorola Moto M smartphone is launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 15,999 at an event in Mumbai. The smartphone was first leaked in live images in October and later, teased for the launch before the official invite of the launch last week.
The Motorola Moto M sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by a 2.2GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P15 processor, clubbed with Mali T860MP2 GPU. The processor is paired with 3GB/4GB RAM.
The Motorola Moto M packs a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, 1.0um pixel size and an 8MP front-facing camera with 85-degree wide-angle lens, 1.12um pixel size. It comes in 32GB/64GB of inbuilt storage options, expandable up to 128 GB via a microSD card.
The hybrid dual-sim smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the rear panel below the camera setup. It is backed by a 3050mAh battery with Turbo charging. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. It comes with a 3.5mm audio jack and Dolby Atmos speakers. It measures at 151.35×75.35×7.85mm and weighs at 163g.
The Motorola Moto M comes in Gold and Silver colors. The base variant, which has 32GB internal storage and 3GB RAM is priced at Rs. 15,999, while the 64GB storage and 4GB RAM variant costs Rs. 17,999. The smartphone will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting from 14th December, 11:59 pm onwards.
