Lenovo owned Motorola has finally announced the launching of one of the most anticipated phone, Moto X4 in India. The company has announced that the Moto X4 will be launched at an event on November 13 at New Delhi, India. The phone will be Flipkart exclusive in India and Flipkart has also launched a dedicated page for the Moto X4. The smartphone may be launched with some exciting launch offers from the company as well as Flipkart.
The Moto X4 was originally unveiled at IFA 2017 which happened in Berlin back in the month of September. One of the highlighting feature of the Moto X4 is the support for Google Assistant & Amazon’s Alexa as a voice based virtual assistant. It is one of the very few smartphones which supports both voice assistants. Moto X4 has a metal unibody design with a fingerprint scanner placed in front side at the bottom of the screen. The phone comes equipped with USB Type-C port & a 3.5 mm audio jack placed at the bottom of the phone.
The Moto X4 comes with a 5.2-inch FHD LTPS IPS display with a resolution of 1080 × 1920 pixels. The phone’s body is made up of anodised aluminium frame and 3D rear contoured design. Corning Gorilla Glass provides protection to the phone for both the front and rear glasses.
Specifications of the phone are at par with most of the mid-range smartphones. It includes octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor clocked at 2.2 GHz with Adreno 508 GPU and comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. It supports microSD upto 2 TB. The Moto X4 is powered by a 3000 mAh battery, bundled with 15 W TurboPower charger and promises 6 hours of power in just 15 minutes.
Coming to one of the most talked feature of the phone i.e. the dual camera setup at the back, it boasts one 12 MP and another 8 MP sensor and comes with Dual Pixel Autofocus technology which provides faster focusing even in low-light conditions. The 12 MP sensor has f/2.0 aperture and 1.4 um sensor size, while the 8 MP camera is an ultra-wide angle sensor with 120-degree field of view and has f/2.2 aperture and 1.12 um pixel size. The front camera comes with a 16 MP sensor with support for LED flash. The phone also comes with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
The phone was unveiled in Super Black and Sterling Blue colours at IFA, Berlin. It runs on Android Nougat 7.1 with support for single sim.
